To kick-start Apprenticeship Week, Business in the Community is working with City and Guilds to bring together senior business leaders to discuss the importance of apprenticeships in building the future of the UK economy.

A high-profile breakfast event is being held in the Gherkin on 7 February 2011.

Delegates will be addressed by high-profile advocates of apprenticeships, with an opportunity to discuss apprenticeships and barriers for employers, make recommendations for policy improvement, feeding back to a panel on the day and into a submission to government.
